In a keenly contested election that underscored the vibrant democratic spirit within Nepal's tourism sector, Bharatjang Pandey has been elected as the new President of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA). The election, held during the association's 59th Annual General Meeting and 25th Executive Committee Election, saw Pandey emerge victorious with 188 votes, triumphing over two other formidable groups led by Jiswan Tuladhar and Yuvika Bhandari. The newly formed executive committee also includes Smrika Thapa, Prakash Lohani, Nabin Gurung, Dinesh Mainali, Sumanlal Shrestha, Swastika Pradhan, Sanket Dahal, and Bibhas Paudel as members, bringing a diverse range of experience and perspectives to the table.
