The Transport Management Office in Dhangadhi collected a total revenue of Rs 775.129 million (Rs 77 crore 51 lakh 29 thousand) in the last fiscal year 2082/083. According to Bhuwan Joshi, head of the office, this collection marks an increase of Rs 19.502 million (Rs 1 crore 95 lakh 2 thousand 365) compared to the previous fiscal year 2081/082. The office had collected Rs 755.627 million (Rs 75 crore 56 lakh 27 thousand 355) across various revenue heads in the fiscal year 2081/082. Vehicle tax generated the highest share of the total revenue, bringing in Rs 593.714 million (Rs 59 crore 37 lakh 14 thousand 380). In contrast, the lowest income came from other administrative service fees, which accounted for Rs 1,400. Among other collection categories, driving licenses and vehicle registration book fees contributed Rs 165.589 million (Rs 16 crore 55 lakh 89 thousand 745). Transport sector earnings which include registration cancellations, pollution checks, and route permits generated Rs 14.113 million (Rs 1 crore 41 lakh 13 thousand 835), while business registration fees brought in Rs 1.678 million (Rs 16 lakh 78 thousand 220). Additionally, the office recorded Rs 32,140 from insurance claim receipts.
