eSewa Launches Campaign Highlighting Direct-to-Wallet Remittance Services

eSewa has launched its ‘Antai Bhaye Pani Aafanta Ko Najik’ campaign, highlighting its direct-to-wallet remittance service for Nepali families. Through authorized remittance partners, Nepalis living abroad can send money directly to their family members’ eSewa Wallets in Nepal. Recipients can use the funds for everyday payments such as electricity and water bills, telephone and internet bills, insurance premiums, school fees and other digital transactions.

The campaign also promotes the use of formal remittance channels and digital payments. According to eSewa, receiving remittances directly in wallets can reduce the need for cash withdrawals through agents or banks and make it easier for families to use remittance income for regular expenses. The campaign focuses on how digital remittance services can help Nepalis working abroad remain financially connected with their families while expanding the use of digital financial services in Nepal.
