Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) has appointed Ganesh Prasad Awasthi as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO). The bank’s Board of Directors decided at its meeting held on Monday. Awasthi holds a Master of Business Studies (MBS) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from Tribhuvan University. He has also completed a course in strategy from Harvard Business School.
With more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector, Awasthi joined Nabil Bank six years ago as an Assistant General Manager, moving from Global IME Bank. During his banking career, he has gained extensive experience in operations, risk management and credit management. He is regarded as an experienced professional in managing banking operations, risk and lending-related functions. His appointment as DCEO adds another senior banking professional to Nabil Bank’s executive leadership team.
