Mandu Hydropower Calls AGM on Bhadra 18 to Endorse Dividend; When is the Book Closure Date?

Mandu Hydropower Limited (MANDU) has called its 14th and 15th AGM on 18th Bhadra, 2083. The meeting will be held in Nepa Banquet, Naya Bazzar, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 am that day. Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse the dividend for the fiscal years 2081/82 and 2082/83. The proposal was made by the company’s 228th Board of Directors meeting held on Shrawan 27, 2083. Based on the company’s current paid-up capital of Rs. 1.36 Arba, the proposed cash dividend amounts to Rs. 16.36 Crore, including the applicable dividend tax. The proposed dividend will be distributed subject to approval from the company’s shareholders and the relevant regulatory authorities. The company also reiterated its earlier dividend proposal, based on accumulated profits through fiscal year 2081/82. As decided by the 225th Board meeting, Mandu Hydropower had proposed a 10% bonus share amounting to Rs. 13.63 Crore, equivalent to 13,63,637 bonus shares, based on the existing paid-up capital of Rs. 1.36 Arba. In addition, the company had proposed a 0.5263% cash dividend, amounting to Rs. 71.77 lakh, for dividend tax purposes. Furthermore, an agenda is to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports, and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2083/84. There is an agenda to approve the daily travelling allowance. The book closure date is on Bhadra 05, 2083. Therefore, the shareholders who maintained their shares before that day are entitled to dividend payout and can attend this AGM. Notice:
