Mechi Industries Signs MoU with Laxmi EN FAB for Production Capacity Expansion

Nepal’s leading AAC block manufacturer, Mechi Industries Limited, has signed an MoU with India-based technology provider Laxmi EN FAB Pvt. Ltd. to increase its production capacity by an additional 5,000 cubic metres of AAC blocks per month. The company is also expanding its product portfolio by investing in modern plants and equipment to produce mortar adhesive, ready-mix plaster, tile adhesive and wall putty.

In addition, Mechi Industries has received three international ISO certifications: ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety, reflecting its commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, corporate governance and workplace safety.
