NEPSE Gains 7.17 Points Today after Four days Consecutive Falls

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single digit gain today, gaining by 7.17points to close at 2,629.40. This follows a 0.26 point loss in the previous trading session.   The benchmark index opened at 2,622.97 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,629.56 and a low of 2,608.38 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.40 Arba, with 9,500,766 shares traded across 345 companies through 47,919 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.22 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.25 Kharba.   Agricultural Bond (9 Year) (ADBLB87) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 50.65 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,015.00.   Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) hit the upper circuit with a 14.99% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 797.60. Meanwhile, Kumari Dhanabriddhi Yojana (KDBY) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 9.77%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 9.97.

Among sectors, the HydroPower Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.99%, while the Mutual Fund recorded the highest loss, down 0.65%.
