NEPSE Slips Below 2700 Level; CFCL Tops Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate loss today, falling by 4.64 points (0.17%) to close at 2,696.67. This follows a loss of 33.28 points in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2704.77 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,705.83 and a low of 2,680.87 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.42 Arba, with 10,421,863 shares traded across 342 companies through 55,580 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.34 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.65 Kharba. Central Finance Co. Ltd. (CFCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 27.14 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 654.20.   Everest Colour Limited (ECL) led the gainers' list with a 15.00% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 861.00.   Meanwhile, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 6.07%.
