SEBON Approved NIC Asia Capital's Mutual Fund Scheme ; "NIC Asia Equity Opportunity Fund" To Issue 8 Crore Mutual Fund Units

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved the "NIC Asia Equity Opportunity Fund" worth Rs 80 crores on Bhadra 10, 2083. This is a closed-end 10 year mutual fund scheme that will be floating 8 crore units each share at a par value of 10 per share. The sponsor of the fund is NIC Asia Bank Limited, while the fund manager is NIC Asia Capital Limited. As of now, NIC Asia Capital is managing four closed-end funds and one open end funds in the market.
